The Portland Trailblazers return to the Rose Garden Wednesday night after going 4-1 on a five game road trip. The Blazers, who won the first four games on this road trip, just didn’t have enough left in the tank to beat the Atlanta Hawks in overtime.

After a day off the Blazers take on the Pistons who will be flying into Portland late Tuesday night after playing the Lakers in Los Angeles.

The Pistons have been playing well lately, despite the loss of two of the most important players on their roster. Rip Hamilton and Tayhaun Prince have both been out with injuries, and its unlikely that either player will be available when these two teams meet Wednesday night. In their absence, both Jonas Jerebko and Ben Gordon have filled in admirably.
