Club Pistons Watch: Missing Jonas Jerebko (and a Big Man) Excerpt

After the first week of the 2010-2011 NBA season, the Pistons are 0-3.

1. Detroit lost at New Jersey 101-98 after blowing a 95-88 lead with 1:40 left.
2. Detroit lost its home opener to Oklahoma 105-104 when Jeff Green improvised on a broken play and laid the ball in.
3. The next night in Chicago, after leading the Bulls by as much as 21 points, the Pistons ran out of gas and were outscored 34-9 in the fourth quarter for a 101-91 loss.

Rodney Stuckey is averaging 18.7 points and 7.7 assists. He is displaying an improved midrange jumper and increased efficiency at the point guard position.

After a quiet first game, Ben Gordon exploded in the last two games, averaging 21.7 points off the bench. In the last week, he has reminded fans of the deadly scorer he was coming out of Chicago.

Charlie Villanueva has had a solid week with 13.7 points and 4 rebounds. Villanueva is making the effort to be a team defender and play both in the post and on the perimeter….
